This is a collection of some of the first songs we collaborated on together after first moving to Austin, Texas in 2021. Such change can be a daunting experience sometimes but it can also feel weightless and exciting. We sat with these four songs for many months after writing them, not really changing anything about them, having already moved on to other projects. I think this allowed us to return to them later though, nearly two years later, and re-live them with the same novelty that we felt every day being in a new city.

There is but a brief threshold where a thing will feel new, before the comfortable inertia of familiarity sets in. We hope this EP inspires you to seize that threshold with energetic curiosity and still welcome with sincerity its gradual wane.
